Hold on to your cherry ChapStick, folks, because Calvin Harris just potentially stirred up some old bad blood.

On Tuesday (May 9), Calvin posted a teaser for his new album, Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1, on Twitter and Instagram. It’s set to drop June 30 and features collaborations with seriously talented musicians: Ariana Grande, Travis Scott, Pharrell Williams, John Legend, Nicki Minaj, and, drumroll please, Katy Perry.

Now, yes, these names are some of the biggest recording artists of 2017, so it’s no surprise Katy would be featured in one of Calvin’s songs. After all, she has a new album coming out this summer, too. But, the obvious question arises: Will this track address the duo’s respective (and totally alleged) feuds with Taylor Swift?

Fans think all signs point to yes. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly earlier this week, Katy spoke about Taylor’s song “Bad Blood” and suggested that she might not be ready to forgive and forget.

“One thing to note is: You can’t mistake kindness for weakness and don’t come for me,” Katy said in the interview. “Honestly, when women come together and they decide to unite, this world is going to be a better place. Period end of story. But, let me say this: Everything has a reaction or a consequence so don’t forget about that, OK, honey.”

Could that feud be the common ground Katy and Calvin used when writing their collaboration song? After all, Calvin and Taylor did have a very public breakup in summer 2016, and fans thought one of Calvin’s first postbreakup singles, “My Way,” was about the split.

But even if it’s not about Taylor—and, let’s be real, it’s likely not—this collaboration is still shaping up to be the summer anthem 2017 we needed.
