Some politicians have lofty goals: free college for all, the reversal of wealth inequality, universal health care. Others aim just a tiny bit lower. One such New York City politician is feeling the literal burn—sunburn—and has set his sights on free sunscreen. Can we get a hell yeah?

Similar to programs in Boston and Miami, the proposal, brought forth by comptroller Scott Stringer, would bring sun protection to the masses via strategically placed dispensers that would provide SPF 30 sunscreen in city parks, beaches, and pools.
